For four months in the Fall of 2011, El Paso videographer Omar Mena "imedded" himself onto the 13th Planet compound and tracked the daily adventures of Ministry's Uncle Al Jourgensen and his merry band of pirate co-conspirators throughout the making of Ministry's Relapse. Twelve "webisodes" have premiered on Ministry's Facebook page www.facebook.com/ministry leading up to the release date of March 23rd, 2012
for Relapse.
The Making of...Relapse Director's Cut...encompasses not only the twelve webisodes from Ministry's FAcebook, but additional never before seen footage of Al Jourgensen, Mike Scaccia, Casey Orr, Tony Campos and Tommy Victor, as well as other "associates" involved in the "process" of making something out of nothing. This is Mena's collective point-of-view of his experiences as a documentarian landing inside the 13th Planet compound and includes never-before-seen footage of Al Jourgensen and company crafting "...what is sure to be remembered as one of the band’s crowning achievements."
